Stará Škola is located on the border of southern and central Brda, halfway between Plzeň and Příbram, in the village of Míšov. The school building was built in 1886 by Emperor Franz Joseph I. and served as a municipal two-classroom school until the 1950s, when it was used as a hostel for the army. It was then converted into a pub with a dance hall and a shop.
With the new millennium, it began to decay and now we are gradually returning it to its original form and we have built two apartments for you to have a place to lay your head when you go to Brda for cycling, cross-country skiing, hiking or even just for mushrooms and blueberries. From the outside, the building with its still unfinished facade will not impress you much, but inside everything is ready to make you feel great.
